Needed an external hard drive to import my user data from my old PC to a new PC. The Best Buy sales associate recommended this product as it was on sale. It performed the functions I needed to import my data from the old PC to the new one.

Good amount of storage for a reasonable price, in a portable, sleek package. I only ran into one issue two days after purchasing the drive, where somehow the drive got corrupted. This almost gave me a heart attack, but I found a solution and was quickly able to resolve the issue, restoring my files.

Love this external drive! I use it for home and business use. I have 5 of these and I yet to experience a hardware fault on one of these. Either way, the 3 year limited warranty sounds good.

Easy to just plug in and start saving anything and everything you want. I personally use it to house all my family photos and music. I don't see myself filling this bad boy up anytime soon.

Bought this as a gift for mother-in-law to store her pictures on. She was using USB drives and this will make it easier to store them all in one place - and almost never risk filling it up!

This lil guy is awesome and helps when you need to back up and save files off multiple systems. I'm extremely happy and it's my 2nd one I own. Other is used with my wiiu. Great product!!!

Great for backing up data from PC. I like the compact size. Using it on older Windows might take you some additional time setting up the auto backup. Perfect size for Xbox One add-on drive.

The external hard drive is exactly what I need to move files and mostly to back up data safely. The price was reasonable and it was available in store with no waiting. Highly recommended.

Bought as an external to my Xbox one, got surprised with a $10 gift card at purchase. Awesome! So far so good. 900ish GB/1 TB (1000 GB) free. As opposed to xb1 having 375 GB/500GB usable.

I've had this drive for about a month now. Great size and quite fast when used with a USB 3.0 port. I carry it with me as a backup/working drive when going back and forth from home to work. Short cable like all the rest but when working with laptop it's fine. There is a status light on the side of the drive by the cable connection which is helpful if you want to know that the drive is being accessed. Only hangup I've had is that it has not been "ejectable" all of the time which means I have to power down my computer to unplug it. Haven't investigated this in detail but I suspect it may have something to do with the backup software that is preloaded on it.

The device connected immediately and fast as expected. Extremely fast read/write speeds, and a sleek design. This was extremely easy to use. I just plugged it in and followed the instructions in the "User Manuals" folder. Runs nice, is silent, and is very fast over USB 3. Smaller than expected, very portable, and fits in my pocket. Excellent portable external hard drive that has lots of memory. Very satisfied and would recommend to all.

This drive has performed flawlessly since purchase. It is compact in size and easily transportable.

I am not the most computer literate person in the world. I was able to backup all of the important documents from my old computer and transfer them to my new one without any problems!

This is the second Western Digital external HD I have purchased. The first I purchased was a 3tb for my xbox one and worked flawlessly so I decided to purchase another, a 1tb for my Nvidia Shield. I could have opted for a 256 mb for just about the same price, but for $59.99 this can't be beat. Very reliable product and worth the investment. If you need expandable memory or an external HD I really recommend buying this product.

Before I buy anything I always look for product reviews as I did before buying My Passport Ultra 1TB and I have to say as of this review it's performing great...no complaints here ;)

Easy to use and does what's advertised. Love the compact size. Lots of storage in a small package

It is plug in play right from the start. It does all the work and is encrypted on top of it. I really like the compact size and the weight. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have bought many of these for both friends and myself to make sure your backed up. They are small and dependable, the only downside is the short USB cable, and that's an easy fix.
