This a great product for storing pictures and movies. Works with all computers and laptops. Simple plug and play feature doesn't require and external power source.

When looking at external hard drives, I look for size needs, which this met, then quality, of which WD is solid, and finally price, which is where this beat the rest.

This tripled my storage for my new Xbox one, it's easy to use. And I love how small it is.

Bought this as a back up drive to have all files and projects on hand from work. This works so well I intend on using another one or two for home as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We bought three to use as rotating backup drives for the office. All work perfectly with no issues. Small size is easy to throw in a backpack or even a pocket to carry home.

This is by far the best external/portable hard drive to date. This is the 3rd one I've purchased. They hold up for years. The first one had less space. I was trying it out. The second one was for my oldest son to download his games on. This one has more spa e for me to condense everything onto one; pictures, music, work and important paperwork. No complicated instructions, just plug up and go!

This hard drive has a slim, easy-to-store form factor making it easy to carry on the go. It does the job that it's intended for and does it well. No complaints so far!

Needed more storage to keep data intensive CAD models and drawings. This drive was plug and play. Now I have plenty of space and didn't need to buy a new PC to do my work.

....weeks. I dunno how long it will last, but it's been so far, so good. I own three of these drives, including an older, USB 2.0 version that is still running quite nicely.

I am not an expert at Computers and hardware; however this was the easiest way to transfer data from one computer to the other.

Not much to review. Does what you want. Use for keeping files with me and have some multimedia on it. Also picked up a second one for my Xbox One system for added storage.

Great product, easy to use right out of the box. Been getting hard drives errors and needed to back up my files fast. This did the trick even though I have I lot of data.

I have a drive specifically to do daily back-ups, I was looking for a quick external drive to move data from a failing hard drive. This drive was on sale, and seemed compact and easy. I was not disappointed. I skipped using any of the manufactures software by jumping directly into copying files. All worked out, mission accomplished at a decent price, and now I have a portable drive for other uses.

Just plug in let the driver load to your PC or laptop and in under 5 minutes ready to use. I use this for music and large photo files so not to use up space on my PC.
