Got this black Friday 2015 at 50% off regular price. It works great and very easy to use. I bought two, one for the computer and one for the XBOX. So far no problems!

I needed a portable backup memory for my computer. This 1TB portable hard drive came highly recommend from an IT friend of mine. It is small and met my expectations.

This was a very useful drive for creating back-ups of my desktop and laptop computers. I needed something compact to store in a safe deposit box and this was perfect.

I bought this for my grand daughter as a Christmas gift. I have always used WD and have been impressed with the realiability.This wil serve her well for a long time.

Very easy to use, even a simpleton can plug it into a USB port and use it as a backup device or manually copy files and/or documents over to this portable hard drive.

Best hard drive I have purchase. I don't trust the cloud... This new WD drive is fantastic in that it is quite small, doesn't require external power. It is amazing how they fit 1 TB drive in such a small package. One bonus is that when I replace my computer in future with one that has USB 3.0 interface, this drive can handle that. (It works fine with USB 2.0 also.) The device looked and felt solid.

We had to gut our computer and bring to Geek Squad so we were able to save our thousands of pictures. Now we can load them back into computer and nothing was lost.

Need to backup files, pics to a expendable place for storage. This came highly reminded from our IT specialist. Definitely worth the price. Works well, lightweight

I bought one of these for my xbox one. It works flawless. Havent had any issues. Its nice to have the extra space. WD does it again. Great brand. Would buy again.

Had an old WD ext drive, but it was much bigger and slower. Needed to store a ton of videos and pics, worked great. USB 3.0 made the transfer quick and painless...

I have 2 of these 1 terabyte USB drives and have never had an issue with them. I personally don't buy any drive that is over 1 terabyte. If one does go bad you don't lose as much data and you can replace it easily. Just remember to back up back, back up, back up!

I only buy Western Digital. I have two passports that have been error free for over 4 years. Needed the extra storage and Best Buy had a great price on the 1 TB.

I bought a black and blue drive. Use one at a time and are able to back up our desktop. In case a virus comes my way I have a backup in hand. Can't beat the price

I am using the WD external drive as an additional drive for my PC. It has allowed me to create more room om the PC and is working fine. The have been no problems.

Bought this to expand our Xbox One storage since we have a Day One Edition with the smaller hard drive. Plugged it right into the Xbox and it worked seamlessly.

What can you say about an external hard drive. If you can plug and play and have it not fail - it is great. Well that is this one. I have bought two of them now!

Easy to pug and play type set up. I knew very little about extra drives. But I made this work right from start up.

As usual a quality device from western digital. Works fast and is easy to use. The only trouble I ran into was initially installing it on my Windows 7 laptop. Took a couple minutes of online searching to find the driver because it did not automatically install.

I have three of these drives and have had great success with them. Fast access and dependable. I carry them around and have not had any issues with reliability.
