Just plug it in, with the included USB cable, and get to work. This WD My Passport Ultra is a great size, thinner than a deck of cards and can be stowed just about anywhere for travel.

This is an awesome little thing. I had an older external hard drive and it was too bulky. This little thing is great. I love how small it is and it holds up a lot of pictures plus music.

Replaced a Clickfree backup device and this device was easy to install and performed a quick backup. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I wish the software that came with the device showed the progress of the backup and the files being backed up, but other than that, I would recommend this device.
