This functions as I hoped. Plug it in and use it with no fuss. It takes up very little space on my desk and is perfect for use as a backup to system/personal files.

I have two of these units, one for desktop and one for my photos. Just plug it in and use the file system to assign usage. They have been reliable and inexpensive.

Works great on nvidia shield went from 16gb to 1 terrabyte with no noticeable difference in performance highly recommend to anybody with the standard 16 gb model.

I got this to backup important documents and photos. I like the security features of this hard drive, and how you can use a password to protect your files. It is very easy to set up, and I have not had any problems with it. In addition, it's also very compact.

This is very simple plug and play unit. Needs a quick start insert with the packaging.
