I bought another brand of hard disk and it only lasted a few months, this is my second Western Digital and I like it fine so far, I am using it as a backup on a Dish DVD and it is fast and seems to be durable.

Does what it is supposed to and was easy to set up.

Needed extra storage space for pictures, and this drive has enough. Small size makes it easy to carry on trips.

I got this drive for my trip to Vegas for CES, I needed to have away to backup photos, videos, and documents from companies I visited while at CES. This drive spins up quickly and has great transfer speeds.

This passport stores all of my memory. I use it for all of my school work and projects. Very easy to use. I love it!

Great product - Been needing to buy this . Love it

This backup drive is small and easy to use. Software that comes with the drive makes doing updates very simple.

Great product for the price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to store there files with ease.

Simple to use, set up for easy backup. Great device

this is a great option for a backup.. easy to use!

Great drive. I use it to store movies and play them on my bluray or PS3... Works great!! Just remember to reformat to FAT32 before loading up with movies. Other formats might not connect to bluray or PS3.

I needed an external hard drive to use as a backup for my MacBook because I was using the other external drive as backup for my Windows machine. I suppose techie people could partition one drive to accommodate both operating systems but it was so much easier to just buy a new drive. I just take the appropriate drive with me when I travel. It is very compact and quiet (some externals buzz a bit). My only regret is that I didn't buy two when they were on sale.

This was a great value. I needed an external drive to store additional data. This was a small, reliable drive.

I preach to all my family and friends, backup your computers! Trusted and proven WD hard drives are my go-to for backup solutions. Preloaded with Backup, Security and utility software. Plug and play solution. Follow the simple directions within the preloaded software on the hard drive and backup your computer. Comes with USB 3.0 cable, will work with any USB 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0 connection (just slightly slower speeds) Works with Windows, MAC, PS4 and XBOX ONE.

This is way better than my old portable hard drive that needs an external power source. Just plug it in through your computer USB & you're good to go.

Great product, small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. Never had any problems with any of the WD flash drives

I purchased this external drive to back up my business records.. It has a lot of memory and now if my computer crashes I have all my records safe in another drive.. It was a great product for the money

I bought this external hard drive just to store all my pictures on and it is absolutely perfect. Great price too!

More than enough capacity to back up our computer. Super easy installation and scheduling. Well worth the money.

This 1tb hard drive is a perfect bang for your buck. Not only that it fits in your pocket and has a 3.0 USB.
