I had a WD external drive for backup some years ago and thought that this drive would operate similarly, but it is a little less intuitive to operate. I'm using it to backup my personal computer that has over 600 GB memory used but when I selected the "C" drive to be backed up, I got the message that there was insufficient space. I had to select fewer folders in order to get the backup of 250 GB to begin. I haven't yet figured out how to view how many gigabytes the backup takes on the WD drive. I have gotten it to backup on a regular basis, but it takes close to 12 hours to complete the backup each time. Overall, I am satisfied with having a backup of my most critical files, but I will have to review the operating manual to get more out of this backup drive.

Does well when transporting and traveling but more storage my desktop! Fast transfer rate.

This drive is small in size but large in capacity. Great for backups and storing photos.

I love these portable drives. Remember when 1T was huge. Now they are so compact and fit in my laptop bag no problem. Price was consistent with everywhere I looked.

Only problem that I have had is that it sometimes becomes unresponsive on my Windows 10 system if I haven't accessed it for a while. As I am presently using it as a location for my system image backup and weekly system backups, this has not been a significant issue for me.

It's easy to use once you Convert it and restart the system. It's very secure. Which was a feature I didn't care too much for. Buy if you want security then it's very nice

This was the answer to all of my back-up problems. Small, lightweight and easy to use.

I have been very pleased with the added speed of my backups due to the USB 3.0 capability. I was used to long backup sessions and now the sessions are hardly noticeable.

I liked the fact that it was tiny, black and a low price for a high volume of storage.

Small, quiet, works on both PC and Mac if formatted to FAT. Would recommend to anyone!

Works great, will buy more. Perfect for holding pictures, movies, files. Love this!

This held all of my old computers data and still has plenty of space very easy to use

Great external hard drive...small, compact...was easy to reformat for apple product

Really glad that I purchased this. Small but super for storage. Also a great price.

I love the size of this hard drive. It's very portable & compact & is easy to store.

I have three External Hard Drives, in my experience i think that My Passport is one of the best brands in External Hard Drives, and very fast connected by USB 3.0 port

Easy to use and perfect size. Enough capacity for my thousands of pics and videos.

I bougot this for my girlfriend to use for more pc games space without getting an internal drive to install on her machine. A bit slower load times for games than anot internal drive would be but it's easier to do this than open the case to install an internal drive.

Small and easy to set up. Good price and it was recommended by GS member at my store.

Needed more space on the XBOX one and needed a drive that was not expensive yet had the storage and read/write speeds. This is a great drive and no issues using this.
