Bought this as a backup drive for the PC. Hopefully it is one of those products you will never have to use (to recover after a crash). Have used it for a couple of monthly backups. Not sure how long the backup process is supposed to take though. It takes about 2 hours to backup about 7 GB of data.

Everything you need comes in the package.. Backup software is included on the drive. Very quiet. This unit is going to do the job as a backup system restore drive as well as data backup.

Small and light and very easy to install and use.I love that I can take it with me whenever I need to.

This is a compact 1 TB external hard drive. Easy setup and no problems so far. Good for the price.

From my personal experience of 20+ years of scientific computing, Western Digital has the best reliability of any brand. I like that this new drive appears to maintain the high quality I expect from this company. The Slim form Faster is very nice un terms of not being as bulky in my backpack. I works very well with my MacBook 12" after reformatting the drive to ExFat and using a USB-C adapter. The low cost also is very nice.

I saw this drive on sale as a Best Buy Deal of the Day for a great price. I had a 64GB USB 3 thumb drive hooked up to my Asus router on which I would store digital copies of my movies & music to access from my AI Cloud. Unfortunately 64GB doesn't go very far these day, This WD 1TB drive is just what I needed, Easy to configure. Just attached to the router, went to the router settings and I was ready to go within 10 minutes.

This backup drive is easy to use, comes with two backup software programs that are intuitive and have worked well so far. At 1 TB the size is more than adequate for the average PC

I've always used WD hard drives without any issues . I'm using this one to store game files and it's been good so far . It's also small and sleek making it easy to carry around .

This is a good size backup drive and setup easily with Windows 10 backup. Cool color was a plus.
