I purchased this external hard drive after having multiple computer failures. I was tired of loosing my data and pictures. Cloud backups are great, but there's still somethings that just can't be replaced. Although I haven't had to use it for it's intended purpose yet (and hopefully I won't for a few years), the backup process was pretty painless and using the hard drive's own software, it was seamless. The price was good, and the quality seems good. I would definitely recommend this hard drive.

Just plug in this drive and use. Very fast and ready to use. Lightweight and portable.

Small size but big on performance. Can connect to our router to stream movies to the tv, stores a lot of media. Reliable too.

Small, portable, and does the job well. A Best Buy Geek representative recommended this external drive and I was able to price match it also, saving me a couple of dollars. My 2010 laptop was hanging on a thread and I wanted to be able to save EVERYTHING on the external hard drive before letting it go and I was able to with still a lot of room to spare. I'm definitely going to get a lot of use out of it. For 1 TB and for the size (and varieties of colors to choose from!), it's great.

1Tb for, $50 on sale is $.05 pre Gb. I used to pay $10 a Gb. I built a 3Tb data store in 1999 which cost $3,000,000 . It filled a room. T can put 3 of these in my shirt pocket. When WD does it well they rock.

Plugged in it and right away I'm saving files. Super easy to use. Works on my Windows PC no problem. My Mac didn't see it?

This is my first purchase of a external hard drive. It was very easy to use and more than enough memory for my personal use.

You can store so many things here, if you want a reliable storage space that's not on a cloud, this is worth the buck.

Hooked it up to XBOX one for additional memory. Xbox System walks you through process. Compatible and Very easy to use.

Honestly, I was in a hurry when I made this purchase. I just quickly ran the price/GB in my head, compared with what was on the shelf at the Store. I do not regret this purchase. The unit is small, and fast. Perfect for taking on travel, but with enough storage that I do not have to worry about it running out.

I purchased five of these drives to provide additional local bare metal backups for five computers. The main backup set is cloud based, so these drives work our great. They are easy to use, plug and play, quick to format, and your ready to go. Highly recommend using them. Also, the price was great.

I had 0 problems getting this item plugged in and up and running. Adds enough space for an occasional gamer.
