Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive's ease of use, ample storage, and reliable performance. Many appreciate its compact size and find it to be a good value for the price. The USB connectivity is also frequently praised. While some users found the included software less than intuitive, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

Perfect device to backup my MacBook Air!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I prefer to use a local external device to backup my devices. My access is 100% available at all times, with or without internet access. With all the security breaches in the cloud, I feel safer taking my data and storing it locally so I can protect my data personally. Also, having 1 TB allows me plenty of room for a partition, if desired.

Good harddrive for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great hard drive for the price and it is small enough to take with you on trips as a way to backup your photos/doc/ videos and music. I guess I am one of those that still has not completely made the transition to Cloud Storage, maybe because of the cost, trust, and convenience issues I still have. the only thing i would change is the ability to easily backup only certain type files from various PCs/ laptops and store them in different folders so that it is easy to add other files for future backups.

Simple, quick and compact
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with this purchase. I got this HDD to store and transport photo and videos, and since it's purchased have found additional uses for it thanks to its ease of use, and it's ability to be powered by 1 USB port. This has allowed me to easy take it from laptop to laptop, and even to TVs to share slideshows, videos and more with my family.

Did exactly what I expected from it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used it for an image backup of two of my Window 7 computers before upgrading to Windows 10. After upgrading, I did another image backup of both computers. Then the unthinkable happened - hard disk crash. After replacing the disk, recovery was a snap. I rolled in the image and my system ram perfectly. All my programs and data were restored.

Good, Easy to Use Hard Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon receiving this hard drive, I was immediately content with the purchase. It is a simple, and large (1Tb) hard drive that fit my needs exactly. I needed a way to store file at my office in order to be able to use a personal laptop for work purposes. This is easy to set up with the Wizard (less than five minutes), and easily can be unlocked too use (launches when connected.) I would easily recommend this product. An another feature that was satisfying is the ability to sync with Dropbox as well.
