This external HD has more memory for the same price as a med flash drive. Great deal!!!!

I have tons of these portable drives and have never had a problem with the Western Digital ones. In fact, they're probably slightly more reliable than the Seagate ones I've run through, as I have yet to have one of them fail on me. They're definitely not the fastest or the slimmest drives I've ever used, but if you need cheap storage to take around with you, these are definitely worth a look.

This is a great little HDD. Compact and only 1 cable needed; unfortunately it's not a standard USB at the drive end so it has to be the cable supplied. The 1TB may be too small for someone with a lot of photos, videos and music. But it's perfect for my needs.

I needed to add storage to my Xbox One, so I picked up this drive. It does the job well.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong but it does not seem to be down loading everything at once. I am sure I am doing something. Directions are a little vague for me.

Bought this for my teenage son! He loves it. Says it does everything he needs it to do!

Have always had good luck with Western Digital products. This external is no exception. Only needed less than 1TB so when I found this at my local Best buy for less than 60 bucks, I was happy. Have used it for a while now and am still pleased with my purchase.

No more thumb drives this thing cover it all and is, as they say in Boston, WICKED FAST

Nice design, storage ok, wish it came with it's storage case as previous model I owned

Perfect backup solution for any computer mac or windows. Great for a spare external hdd or use it on a game system as a primary drive like Xbox one. WD has in my experience some of the best drives out there. i have 3 of these drives and never had an issue.

Love this hard drive. Super tiny and portable, and MUCH faster than the old firewire drive I have used. The fact that it doesn't require it's own bulky power cable means I can stuff it in anywhere without needing to plug it into a outlet to power the external HDD

Since I began using my WD Passport hard drive I no longer store any data on my laptop. Not only is this a more secure way of saving your data, but it does not take up space on your device. I even have 2 of them so I can have a backup of my data.

Being a desktop user & living in the south, we have to evacuate for hurricanes periodically. Having this external hard drive, as small as it is, allows us to leave the tower behind. We like it so much we bought one as a Christmas gift for a family member.

I strongly recommend Best Buy to purchase your electronics, the best store in America

I had to find an external hard drive to back up my Mac, but didn't want to get one that was too expensive. This drive was under $60 and did its job perfectly. It backed up all my data no problem and it included a connecting sub cable which was really nice.

The backup is easy to figure out and has a lot of storage space for being so small.

I like the fact that is much lighter than its competitors. Very good for traveling.

This is the old model. I saw the latest, and I liked this more. It's lighter n sliker...light to carry n very small. I love this hard drive. I would love to purchase this in a larger size! Next item on my list for xmas! Purchase this: u won't regret it!

I needed a USB drive with significant capacity with support for OSX and Windows computers. Not the manufacturer provides a lifetime warrant should anything happen. I have purchased 6 of these drives for family and work; used the warranty once with no problem.

Just wanted an external to back up our pictures of 20 years and 200Gb of music that I have accumulated. Transfer was easy and went without a hitch. Like the 3.0/2.0 capability since 3.0 transfer rate is much faster. It did exactly what I bought it for.
