Seems to be a nice unit. I have only used it once so far. Plenty of storage for my files, although I did find it for $10 less about a month after I bought it.

I've purchased 3 of these so far and not had any complaints with any of them. I like that they are compact and sturdy, and easily fit in my backpack for traveling.

I have had several WD portable backups. They have always been reliable and work great. I probably backup more than necessary so glad these are within my budget.

I haven't had any issues with it yet, and I haven't used any of the included software.

This 1tb drive works fine and is easily set up for iOS. I use it to hold my photo library. Nice size and looks like it is well constructed from the exterior.

served the purpose of copying all my files from my work pc to have them after retiring

This is a great little backup drive as I was looking for a small portable backup drive. I have had very little issues with Western Digital products in the past.

But had to search a bit on internet to find good instructions to reformat for my iMac.

After switching to a laptop with a smaller drive, found this unit indispensable giving me the additional storage space I needed for files I infrequently use

Needed a backup device for my laptop so I could wipe it clean - this device did the job with no effort. Fits in your pocket and couldn't be more convenient.

I use this for backing up devices before I wipe them clean (I work on PC’s a lot) to be reset. Hasn’t let me down and I’ve owned it for years.

I'm a huge fan of WD products, It's great you can have access to your documents at any time. the size and weight it's perfect to carry in your bag. Great price

I bought this to back up the files on my computer. I looked at other brands that cost much more and decided that this one served my needs at a much lower cost.

Nice external storage with plenty of space and compatible for 3.0/2.0 use. Perfect for additional storage for solid state systems with only 256GB of storage.

INSTRUCTIONS WERE A LITTLE VAGUE BUT OVERALL THE PRODUCT SERVED THE PURPOSE INTENDED

The backup process only takes a few minutes to complete. Plug it in and you are done.

I use this as added storage for my XBox. I plugged it in, set up in XBox as instructed, and it works like a charm. I now have 1.5TB storage on the system.

Mt passport is a no frills way to back up all of your data from a laptop or desktop. Simple and easy to use with no annoying features that you don't need.

Easy peasy. Took Comcast box out of the picture... Just had to call and give serial numbers. Saved me from renting their equipment at $11/month.

I was in a bind and I got the first thing I saw and it took care of what I needed.
