I feel a lot safer knowing that should something happen to my computer I won't have lost all the important memories like pics of the grandkids.

love these drives. Purchase them all the time and have never had issues with them. Compact and easy to carry around. Fast transfer speeds too!

Bought this to backup some important files. Its small, doesn't require an external power supply, and is relatively fast. Can't ask for more.

This is my 2nd My Passport 1Tb . Works great for storing my pictures and serves as my system backup. I will buy again and I highly recommend it.

Was easy to set up my husband a total non-geek able to do it by himself

I only used for backup pictures, and video, it work perfectly for that.

I needed external storage for my pictures. This has solved my issues and now I can save everything and take it with me while I'm on the go.

I bought this as a gift for my son, he needed additional storage space for his XBOX One console. Very easy to set up and works as expected.

This was perfect for my needs of downloading all of my pics and data from my laptop. Price was great as well. I price compared with amazon!

Bought an external HDD, In order to use with a Channel Master DVR+ for added DVR recordings, simple to use and works great with the interface.

I followed the instructions to the letter but it still wouldn't install the way it was supposed to. I just transfered the items I wanted saved with copy and paste and bypassed the backup feature that didn't work. Other than the installation issues I like the product and would buy another if needed.

This hard drive runs very well and is durable, for a spinning drive. It is powered through the USB cord, and is reliable. The only thing I wish it had was a faster spinning drive, but this is great for backing up and light travel.

paying full price is not too bad, but when on sale these are really worth it. always good to have extra space for backups, media, etc...

This 1TB WD drive was just what I needed. I have never had a WD drive fail. This one is lightweight for great portability. There are bigger drives available but 1TB was plenty for what I needed. The price was right too.

It is compact, it updates new files, and who needs more than a TB, unless it is a large business. Great product which has updated with time.
