Customer Ratings & Reviews

Works great, very simple to use for the application I needed. Can't tell a speed difference between the native hard drive and the external.

Got this to use for backing up my wife's laptop. Using Acronis 2016 about weekly. Works great and the price was reasonable. Love WD drives.

Poor instructions, but if you can go online to get added information

Bought for storage of large collection of analog music stored on tape to digital. Working fine so far with no complaints.

I wanted to back up my computers for safety purposes and wanted something efficient and cheap. This fit the bill perfectly so I bought 2.

I needed a backup at home, works great (did not use supplied software, not a cloud fan). 2nd for work computer, 3rd for work computer.

I didn't know if I would like this or not but it's one of the best buys ever. So easy to use to back up my data on my PC.

It is certainly portable and USB 3.0 fast but.....TSA denied this as my official Passport documentation. Missed my flight to the D.R. because of it. Heard some places down there are not quite 'Cosmopolitan' as you would think, so not a complete loss I suppose. Buyer Beware.

Good external drive. Had some issues formatting to use in Mac and pc.

I use it for system image back-up of my HP650 Laptop via Carbonite. Easy install and set-up and it has been working flawlessly ever since.

More secure than flash drives. Best external storage device for vital records, college research papers, and banking records.

This was just what I needed for expanding my dvr. Now able to save lots of extra shows that are piling up for a binge filled rainy day.

I'm not tech savvy at all. However, even this was very easy for me to set up and use right away. I love the automatic back up option.

This product works exactly as advertised. No problem getting it up and running in just a few minutes. Does both scheduled and on-demand back-ups. Some users may however, find its operation different from a typical USB drive.

Drive works perfectly with my Macbook Air. Started right up and so far no problems! Would recommend to anyone who needs an external drive.

I have used these for years and would not buy anything else. they have never failed me.i run two on every network just for protection

I had a new laptop; I needed to back up the hard disk. Either use several DVDs or use external hard disk. I chose this hard disk as the best alternative. I have not repeated the back up or recovered anything already backed yet. So I cannot comment on efficiency or utility of this product.

This drive does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's very easy plug and play, has tons of storage, and has given me no issues so far.

You can not beat the price for this product or one like it. I purchased for my xbox one to expand the memory and it is more than I need.

I have no complaints about this item. I use it for my xbox one. It's so easy to set up. Works great, and it has a good amount of storage.
