I had absolutely no problem with the Passport from the time I opened the box. Very easy and compact way to back up the computer !Z

I am using western digital from last 3 years and taking one more.

I bought this to back up a laptop while replacing the HDD. Downloaded some free software and it was a snap. I'd buy this again.

Great for people that like to save lots of pictures and movies also for those into repairing computers like I do for file transfers

I use this drive with my old Toshiba 3D laptop. This laptop came out before USB 3.0. This works well with it. No problems so far.

I use it to backup a Mac system, and to store pictures that you can access from both a Mac and a PC. The price is great, the speed is great, and the capacity is great. On top of it you can encrypt using the software it comes with, and only you can access those encrypted files. Again, this password protection works on both Mac and PC - which is why I am so excited about it. I already have three of them (bought them at different dates, hence they have different sizes), all USB 3.0 and they are all great.

I was hoping to store more into it to make room in My computer, but found out I could basically only store pictures into it . Was thinking more on a external hard drive to clean up My computer. I wish I would have checked more about it before I purchased it. My computer need more speed.

Did not know how to use it at first ,but learned how to use it.

Good product but was not as easy to set up for my iMac

I've had no issues with this device and it has plenty of storage. A TB is plenty for the basic user and should work for anybody!

I have been so happy to be so assured that I will not lose any documents or photos that cannot be replaced should my computer crash.

Using this backup is such a pleasure. It is really quick. It's amazing how big one terabyte is. It also encrypts everything too.

These passport HDD's are great. 3rd one that's I've bought. I've never had an issue with them no matter what I've used them for!

Works great and is super fast for the price. I would recommend a good cloud service as an extra means of saving important data.

This is the best investment I have made I don't have to worried about losing my song picture etc... Please get this can't beat it!!!

Bought this for my son - he's studying IT in college. He says this is a great storage tool for him and loves how intuitive it is...

The external USB synced quickly to my MacBook and backed up the entire computer within a few minutes. Very happy with the purchase

As with all WD hard drives I've owned, this one performs as expected. I formatted it for both Windows and Mac and it works well.

The WD - My Passport Ultra 1TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive is a great solution for a compact and high-capacity drive.

This drive works great. I use it to save security DVR footage, as a DVR on my antenna HDMI box and for storage on a cheap laptop.
