Customer Ratings & Reviews

Always have been a fan of western digital external and internal hard drives. Nothing special compared to what they already have but it's definitely a reliable external.

This is the best external I've ever purchased hands down and would recommend to everyone!

When I plug my WD - My Passport Ultra 1TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive into my computer, the computer fails to recognize the device. I have to unplug the device and plug it in again several times until my computer recognizes the device. This device replaces two other WD external hard drives which always worked properly, first time, every time. I think the USB cable may be too small for the computer ports. When the computer finally does recognize the device, the device works very well.

It works very good and I am satisfied with it and would purchase another one if needed.

This product is amazing! It has a wonderful amount of storage and I'm very happy with it!!

i like the manufacture. it works good, easily kept when needed, and has plenty of storage.

Set up is easy, process to install and use is easy. Can't ask for more! A very good value.

HAVE BOUGHT TWO OF THESE - ONE TO SERVE AS MY APPLE BACKUP AND THE OTHER TO BACKUP FILES

Easy, just had to format for mac. Can partition the space for several ways to store data.

This is very easy to use. I wanted to store pictures from my old laptop and my new laptop.

I needed an external HardDrive to backup a new laptop on. Works perfectly for what it is

This is the second unit I bought, easy to use and with a lot of space for my pictures.

I love my hard drive, it is very handy. I keep all my photos and important docs on there

it's the second time that i bought one, i love it, work fast, and to me it's enough space

This hard drive seems like it is doing what it should

This product is easy to use and provides peace of mind with respect to protecting my data.

I purchased this hard drive to add addtional storage to my Xbox. It is my second WD Passport hard drive. I purchased my first Passport hard drive over 2 years ago and have yet to have any issue. The write speed to both Passport drives seem to be as fast if not faster than the write speeds to the hard drives of the PC and Xbox console I have them connected to. This one as the one before "just works".
