Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive's ease of use, ample storage, and reliable performance. Many appreciate its compact size and find it to be a good value for the price. The USB connectivity is also frequently praised. While some users found the included software less than intuitive, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

Good drive, software needs fixing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Drive works well enough, the WD Drive software (optional download) could use a bit of work. Sometimes it hangs up on wake from sleep.

Surprised it failed out of the box
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't have any issues with the product once I got a working unit. Picked up the unit from "order online pick up at store" so I had no history of the item and what it went thru but immediately out of the box the unit failed. I returned it for an even exchange and worked right away. I guess I was the unlucky one. Otherwise the unit seems great.
