Great way to backup your files, pictures, and videos.

this is a good device for backing up your computer

Fast and convenient, sleek looking, non cumbersome.

It works great, nice and sleek. Exactly as pictured.

good buy, would recommend to anybody, go & get it.

Great item.great price and great memory storage!!!

Its a basic hard drive that is fair for its price.

This has been very useful for me as I am deployed.

Just what I was looking for. It works very well...

Like it so far, hopefully lasts a lonnnnnnnng time

good purchase to replace an older, smaller backup.

I explained what I needed to the sales associate and that my laptop was six years old and operated on Windows 7. He said no problem and sold me this product, unfortunately it would not sync with my laptop. I need to return it but that can bed such a hassle.

I'm still now sure about this purchase at this time. It is good for extra storage and will keep you from having to place photos, documents and other items on your laptop. I'm just so new to this that I have not mastered what is good or bad about it.

Don't know how to rate this thing. It's inscrutable. Have no idea how it works or how to use it. No instructions came with it and received no instructions from Geek Squad when it was sold to me for backing up my files.

If you don't know anything about a external hard drive then it can be confusing. I have a MAC and because the hard drive don't say (for Mac) you will have to format it. Just search on YouTube and you should find it

Currently using for memory expansion for my Xbox one. Works great but has an annoying light that stays on 24/7. Which is fine for people who are going to hide it in a cabinet. But not so much in an open room

I purchased this drive for my daughter who owned a Mac. It wouldn't work until I reformatted the drive to work with it. Had to go online to figure it out because the manual included is not useful.

The geek squad was able to recover the info on my old computer. So it is a great back up now. Reason for three stars the USB cable was way too short and limits where I can place it on my desk......

Like I said I purchased it at the rim but the associate did not give me the correct one, I told him that it was not the one but he insisted so it had to be returned, no customer service skills....

Spent way too much time trouble shooting what turned out to be. Bad usb cord. Used an old one and worked right away. Called WD they sent another but blew 4 or 5 hours screwing around.
