I am not too familiar with external hard drives. There are no set up instructions and finding the information is hard to find.

Needs better instructions as to how to use. Didn't load properly using "Windows 10",

this wasn't compatible for my mac as it said it would be, sad for me, but for other PC's I'm sure it would be fantastic.

This was not what I went into the store for. It was sold to me as a no choice buy to get my computer diagnosed. Then what the "sales" supposedly Geek professional told me they were going to do to repair the problem, they in fact DID NOT DO. so I bought it for literally no reason and my puter is still a poor gaming machine, post Geek Squad upsale and $500 tab just to diagnose.

Could not set up backup program, would not recognize drive. Had to manually drag and drop files to save them.

Switched to a Seagate. All I had to do is plug and play. Excellent product.

I bought this device not even a month ago, and now, it's acting up. It does not show on the file explorer. When I went back to Best Buy to get it replace they said if its over 15 days they won't replace it. Now, I am stuck with a device that won't properly work, and my files are gone. :(

a great product and is something that helps with the new computer

We had to return this because it was not compatible with the Playstation it was purchased for.

It took over 3 days for my system to be backed up and then I do not even know if it is backed up

I use these drives a lot and with a purchase of 12 of them, two were DOA right out of the box.

Had this for about 4 days when it fell from my couch to the floor and wouldnt work again

not what daughter expected it to be & a extra thing to carry around to get lost or broken

it does job, but never buy it to write big files. 5400 rpm is very slow. returned it.

Used one my whole life....it broke so had to get one .... there was only 1 style available so this was it.....I guess they are out of style The buttons on it are rediculously small, it is hard to press just one Instructions are not clear and do not work as stated I would have returned it if I lived closer

Haven't figured out how to use it yet. Not much obvious help at this point.

I have it but I have never use it it's still on my kitchen corner.

This Western Digital Easystore 1TB USB 3.0 External Portable Hard Drive is the best hard drive for file backups, photos, music, etc, very reliable, Lots of storage, I strongly recommend this Hard Drive.

Hate it...you have to upload all these crazy things in your computer that takes up soooo much memory and then after you constantly have to keep updating and there's constant reminders etc. so much hassle for something that should just work as a large portable hard drive.

If you are considering investing in portable storage I'd recommend SDD. Although the 1 TB is appealing it started to slow down at 1/4 of it's capacity. Not only that, HD's are now becoming obsolete.
