    Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive's ease of use, ample storage, and reliable performance. Many appreciate its compact size and find it to be a good value for the price. The USB connectivity is also frequently praised. While some users found the included software less than intuitive, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

    • Unreliable

So, I purchased this hard drive several months ago as I need extra space as a film professional and graphic designer. The unfortunate part is I dropped it once (not that far from the ground either) and my Mac no longer recognizes the hard drive. It did once, but would not let me read or write to the drive. I switched out the connection, but that still didn't help. My next option would have to be data retrieval and replacement of the drive itself. I would not suggest purchasing this drive if you plan on keeping important files.

It is going to be nice to have a backup for my hard drive. I'm tired of losing things. Now all I have to do is remember to use it. I do wish that the connector part was a little more stable, I have seen them fail due to wear.
