This is so easy to use! Great product! Price was right! This is so small & compact, and can go anywhere.

It was easy to set up and store my photos. Love the small compact size

Lots of extra storage And got a price match from best buy That's all there is to it No problems to date

This was the drive recommended by my daughter, Computer Coach Cynthia. It is just what I needed for my new laptop, and is good looking too.

I love my wd external drive. I hook it up to game consoles and laptops. It's not bulky and easy to use.

Had a smaller size and wanted to upgrade to allow for more space for pictures/home movies. Works great.

I currently use it as an additional harddrive space for my XBOX One, it connected with ease and formatted itself within sixty seconds. Simple and effective, a decent value for the price.

First external and its awesome, very easy to use. Would recommend this product to all first time users.

Bought this to use as external storage for the xbox as it was filling up. Thus far, it's worked great.

I have very little computer skills but this was extremely easy to set up. Works great and very portable

Was looking to store our photos safely and securely and this product did that and was very easy to use!

Exactly what I was looking for in an external Hard Drive. It's portable, the amount of space that it is able to hold is absolutely astounding! The last time I purchased an External Hard Drive was about 10 years ago & it was only capable of holding 250 GB, just look at how far we have come!

Easy to setup and use for backups. I have both laptop (wind 8.1) and tablet (Wind 10) using this unit.

My son loves that he can store his game progress on this device.

This external USB hard drive was purchased so that Geek Squad could back up data from a crashed PC internal hard drive. Compact design. Working great. Well priced at Best Buy on sale.

The Western Digital Passport is an great choice for an portable external hard drive. Very easy to use.

This met the needs of my computer back up and would buy another if more room needed to back up files.

This is the only brand my family buys for external hard drives - reliable and stands the test of time.

I am using this for an old laptop, knowing it cannot last forever, but unwilling to upgrade because most of my work is now done on tablets--still need the old beast for taxes, etc. Installation was fairly uncomplicated but not as straight forward as the ridiculous pictographs directions. Online help was also useless. However, after poking around a bit I found the install app and set up a backup schedule. It works. WD won'the tell you, but you need to set up a backup schedule for each profile on your computer. Also, a small file called UPPS.BIN does not backup. Other users have reported the same, but this does not seem to be an important system file.

Great for college student to back up work or save all your photos while saving space on your computer
