Customer Ratings & Reviews

This little guy is great for transferring large amounts of data over to another pc, plugging into routers for media storage, or just every day file backups.

Works great for extra storage. I use it with my laptop to store photos while shooting tethered. No complaints.

I bought for my son's xbox one. Super easy to use. Plug into back of xbox one and external hard drive works immediately. No formatting or pairing. GREAT!!!!

Great value for your money. I have also bought 2TB and they all work fine.Never had an issue with the drives.

A first time user and novice, this is actually very easy to use. No complicated in any way and the storage capacity is a plus. Also great value for money.

My WD -Passport Ultra 1TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive is a great buy for extra space and operate smooth. Many extra programs on hard drive.

It's a good size so it's easy to carry it with my laptop when I need it. I have my own business so it's nice to have all important files in a save place

I purchased the passport for back-up during travel. Small and functional, easy to start using, and does what one would expect of an external hard drive.

Very nice compact unit. I attached it to my laptop with velcro and am still able to type easily with the keyboard. Easy set up for auto backups weekly.

I store all of my music and movies on this to free up my Mac. It has a great compact size for me when I DJ!

Very satisfied with easy setup. Included software for backing up files works well. The one T added storage is very cost effective give the sales price.

The hard drive is small, light weight and easy to use and ship - if necessary. I need the 1TB drive space for my projects and you can't beat the price.

bought this to use for my XBOX one and it works great! Just plug and use. Shows up as extra space on the XBOX ONE drive. Easy to save easy to upload.

This is my 2nd WD Drive purchased for my MacBook Pro. My first was only 350 GB, and was Very Useful for a Time. Recently, my Internal Hard Drive Corrupted, for the 2nd Time, and my current drive just didn't have enough space left to backup much data. This new drive has ove 4 Times the Space that my Internal Drive has. I was not only able to backup important Data, but also use as a Great Time Machine Backup Drive (unlike the much smaller previous drive). I am Happy with my Purchase, as usually, and would happily purchase one, again...and likely will do so!

My last back up required 3 cables which made my desk pretty messy. I love the small size and the ease of backing up. I use the apple time machine.

Excellent product. Small convienent to use for a portable backup drive or leave it on your desk for a home backup. Very easy to install and use.

It saved me from losing all of my Nursing careplans, papers, and documents that I needed to keep. It was easy to use and the price was also good.

I also have an old MyBook 1TB, but needs an AC adapter. I needed a new one that was more portable and this one in particular performs very well.

I just needed a portable back up drive to pass files between my work and personal computers, this serves it's purpose at a reasonable price.

Fast and easy to set up and use. Perfect as an external HD for pcs, laptops, and gaming consoles. Best option with a Y adapter for Wii U.
