Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive's ease of use, ample storage, and reliable performance. Many appreciate its compact size and find it to be a good value for the price. The USB connectivity is also frequently praised. While some users found the included software less than intuitive, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

Reliable Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had no problems in the past with these WD USB drives and therefore I went with WD again. Very impressed with the speed of this drive. Works great for making backups of videos. Casing is also very solid unlike other brands.

Great backup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My back up drive filled up. Since it is connected to laptop I decided the passport would be able to travel with me. I believe in multiple backups ,WD drives have preformed well for me in the past, so this was a obvious choice.

Reliable External Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Western Digital includes the option of encrypting the drive, backup software and no external power required. The only missing option is to mirror your computer but there are options available through other software developers.

Good value and quite portable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these units for backup and as repository of our photo libraries, the hardware is just fine for this. Our old machine, though, is still running XP and found it not entirely compatible with and slowed down considerably by WD's software. I removed the freeware and the machine runs much better now, though complete removal was a pain.

Great HD for XBOX One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up as an external HD for the XBOX One. Great price and easy setup. I've had several drive failures on other brands, but WD has been a very stable product, one I certainly trust with my data and in this case, games.
