Customer Ratings & Reviews

Has enough storage to store my music, pictures and documents.

This was a great value for the price! adds a lot of storage!

Excellent little drive with great speed (USB 3). I wanted a place to hold a lot of pictures and music and this works really well.

Good size and USB 3.0+. Would recommend for back-up solution.

Solid drive. Great compact size. Perfect for me because I take media back and forth from offices a lot. Great for working mobile.

I buy WD external drives because they are reputed to have lower failure rates than competing brands. WD's lower failure rates don't mean they won't fail eventually, but I've bought dozens of internal and external drives and never needed a warranty replacement from WD. I use several My Passport Ultras to keep multiple backup sets. Ease of use and speed are as expected (USB 3 speed is excellent; USB 2 speed is tolerable). I'm happy with my existing backup software, so I've never tried the free backup software WD offers with the drives. Tips: The USB 3 cable packaged with the drive is too short (thus only 4 stars); buy a longer one. And disconnect the drive when you aren't actually using it -your data will be more secure and the drive will last longer.

This is a great product for a great price. It handles all usb demands, nice speed transfering, small and stylish, and comes with 256 bit encryption, without slowing down. Not only is this product great, my Xbox one s formatted this product for Xbox use only. After, I wanted to use it for music storage on Windows 10, but my computer was unable to recognize the device. Geek squad took care of this problem in 2 minutes and charged nothing. My review is for the product and the service via Best Buy.

I bought this for my wife to transfer and save pictures from her digital camera and phone. Very easy to use and convenient size.

A great way to save pictures, music and documents and video

External Hard Drive works great and got it for a great price!

Super little drive that can transfer many large files quickly and efficiently. Perfect for moving data and media to use on many different devices. I would recommend this to anyone with a need for on-the-go data management.

This hard-drive is sleek, small, lightweight, portable and fast. It copies and plays things at a very high speed. I love it.

1 TB of storage, simple and effortless. I used it to back up my Dish Network DVR before moving to a new system. Works perfectly!

Easy to use just plug it in and it does the updating for you

Needed more space on my Xbox One and this hard drive was easy to set up and now I've got plenty of space to add more games.

Majority of the reason as to why my computer runs so slowly is due to its small memory. I put 5 years worth of documents, photos, and videos in this little storage and my computer is running much faster!!! I definitely would go through and do some more computer spring cleaning that way you don't have clutter whenever you try and restore!

Easy to back up your computer and plenty of storage space.

Love the ease with backing up and the price is reasonable.

This is a great option for extra storage for a desk top computer. It was a simple plug and play device. No problems at all.

Lots of space for a reasonable price since it was on sale.
