Every have crash - and find yourself in a tight spot, when you data when to the black hole? This is why you need to WD - My Passport Ultra 1TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive you have your documents at your finger tips on your terms when you need it. There are others in the market, and I had them too - but no more! Why, worked on one computer, but not the other, and when I called the Manufacture - all I got was: asdlkjklsdjflkawjei!. So I went to Best Buy for advice and service; and the staff hooked me with this beauty at a price that was easy on the pocket book, and beat the competition by a mile. As side from price and service, it loads to your desktop so that you can instantly get backup and security in click. Moreover its simple to use, and it performs beyond expectations! All of what I expect in a product - meanwhile, I used a hammer on my previous manufacturer product: asdlkjklsdjflkawjei - and oh what a feeling of joy!

Picked this up the other day.I was looking for something to backup all my family's pictures. This is the ticket. Highly portable & a huge amount of space for storing data! I got it on sale & it was a no brainer! Highly recommend!

I've been using these Passport pocket drives for a few years now. They have been reliable. I like the compact size and trust the WD name.

Reasonably priced compared to same storage size, light and easy to take around as needed. Only complaint is wish external drives were more personable and came in different colors as black, silver, and any darker toned get boring.

Son needed back up drive for is college courses and this works great. Small and easily travels with him to classes and performs well.

Use these for portable storage and backup. Ultra has been reliable and the value is good. Works well with Mac; reformat for Mac only.

Great little compact drive for extra storage compared to the hard drives of past which were large and heavy, this is very convenient to carry in pocket, already running low on space next time I will go for a larger capacity.

This little guy has been excellent so far. Definitely worth it. Of course one always wishes for more space, so maybe a 2TB next time.

I use this drive to download movies and connect to tv or computer. Small size makes it easy to travel with. Very reliable operation.

This little hard drive holds a lot and is the perfect size for a college student. Easily taken to class and taken back home. Great!

I'm using this as my Mac Time Machine and it works great. Already formatted for my Mac = plug & play. Running great and no problems.

Perfect addition to any laptop or tablet! Love the new technology the simplicity the storage on a pocket size external hard drive!

I purchased this external hard drive after having multiple computer failures. I was tired of loosing my data and pictures. Cloud backups are great, but there's still somethings that just can't be replaced. Although I haven't had to use it for it's intended purpose yet (and hopefully I won't for a few years), the backup process was pretty painless and using the hard drive's own software, it was seamless. The price was good, and the quality seems good. I would definitely recommend this hard drive.

Just plug in this drive and use. Very fast and ready to use. Lightweight and portable.

Small size but big on performance. Can connect to our router to stream movies to the tv, stores a lot of media. Reliable too.

1Tb for, $50 on sale is $.05 pre Gb. I used to pay $10 a Gb. I built a 3Tb data store in 1999 which cost $3,000,000 . It filled a room. T can put 3 of these in my shirt pocket. When WD does it well they rock.

Plugged in it and right away I'm saving files. Super easy to use. Works on my Windows PC no problem. My Mac didn't see it?

This is my first purchase of a external hard drive. It was very easy to use and more than enough memory for my personal use.

You can store so many things here, if you want a reliable storage space that's not on a cloud, this is worth the buck.

Hooked it up to XBOX one for additional memory. Xbox System walks you through process. Compatible and Very easy to use.
