it wasn't really easy to set up if you're not real tech savy. its set up now and seems to be working ok...I still need to work with it some more

Great device with lots of storage. So small you can take it anywhere.

this external hard drive is compact, fast, and inexpensive. love it!

Simple and light hard drive!!! Easy to conect and very secure.

Lot of storage in a small package. No power cords. Just plug and go.

Small and compact external drive is ideal for backing up a laptop. Easy to take with on business or vacation trips - never lose your data

These 1 TB HD's offer plenty of space for the amount of money you pay. The thing about HDD's though is to make sure you don't move them or drop them while they're powered. This due to the fact that is has mechanical moving parts and a spinning disk. The good thing is there is a warranty on these that allow you a free replacement for a "defective" drive.

It comes with really good security features to make sure your computer is properly and safely backed up. Love the finish and slim design to it,

I bought one 6 months ago for myself. No issues up to this point. Liked it so much I bought one for mom as a gift to backup her pictures. She also so far has no issues. I owned two Seagate drives prior to these with both of them failing before one year. I will never use a Seagate drive again. this drive is easy to store to take anywhere. I take the time to read reviews before I buy and believe this is a good product for the price.

Quality product. Nice size, plug and play and from a great brand.

This hard drive has plenty of capacity and handles large files easily. The software is not intuitive, but you can make conventional back-ups easily without the software. I've been receiving a lot of error messages stating that this hard drive is not ready. The problem can be solved by disconnecting this hard drive from the computer and then reconnecting, but having to do so is worrisome since a back-up device must be highly reliable.

It is the right amount of storage for me and extremely easy to use.

I use Acronis 2015 and Windows Image for backups instead of the included software. Heavy use with zero problems so far after about 8 or 9 weeks.

Amazing that such a small unit can hold so much info. Easy to use.

Great portable disk storage for the price and fits in your pocket.

I converted all my movies to digital and the USB 3.0 makes transferring a breeze, plus it doesn't require another power source and it's quiet!

I have purchased 2-3 WD externalI Hd in the past and have had no problem with any of them. I purchased this to save data from an older drive on a friends PC. It worked perfect for what I needed. I was transferring data to this Wd - My Passport Ultra 1tb External Usb 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive using a USB to IDE HD adapter. Drive is fast and reliable.
