Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the My Passport Ultra 1TB external hard drive's ease of use, ample storage, and reliable performance. Many appreciate its compact size and find it to be a good value for the price. The USB connectivity is also frequently praised. While some users found the included software less than intuitive, the positive feedback on other features outweighs this concern.

Works OK
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this specific portable hard drive because the Best Buy associate told me it would transition well between my MAC and PC devices. Unfortunately, his set-up instructions were inaccurate (he told me to first connect the device to my MAC and look for a specific set up file). After connecting to my MAC, I could not find the file the associate identified and am not sure the device is working properly with my iMAC. I'm using the hard drive only with my PC (works fine with my ThinkPad).

Perfect for backing up files from my laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Western Digital 1TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive to back up my laptop files. It was very easy to setup and I just plug it into my USB Port on my laptop, drag and drop the files I want to back up and the transfer is completed within a very short time. The cable was include in the box so I was good to go.

Great Backup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have used My Passport on other laptops, when I purchased a new laptop the My Passport Ultra was the way to go. Two weeks after purchasing a Microsoft Surface Windows 10 Anniversary got corrupted and had to be reinstalled, sure glad I had the backup or I would have spent hours trying to piece together data from other sources!
