    I bought this on the recommendation of a sales person at Best Buy who advised me that it was what I needed to download all of my old programs from the computer I was retiring & moving up to my new one. He said it would download all of the programs off my old one & would upload everything onto my new computer with ease. This had no clear instructions how to use it & after downloading (I think) it uploaded only garbage that could not be deciphered & none of my pictures or music could be found. This was a waste of money unless you are a proficient computer geek which I am not & explained to the sales person that fact.

    My current spare drive was going out, this product was doiuble the space and faster speed. Hopefully it last as long for the price. But so far in a month there has been no trouble.
