I use this drive for backing up music and movies. It has major room for a 2.5" drive. Fast and WD worthy. Very portable and hooks up to any PC/MAC... Backwards compatible.

USED IT A LITTLE NOT SURE YET HOW WELL I LIKE IT BUT GOING TO FIND OUT

Had an old 1TB USB 2.0 hard drive. This one is 3X+ faster. We purchased this in hopes it would work on a 29" Samsung TV. Unfortunately, it didnt. However, it works great on our 55" Samsung. We did have to format the drive into two (2) 1TB partitions. After that it worked fine. It is a fast drive.

I lost all the data on a previous hard drive when it stopped working so I got this to replace it and will be getting another soon so that I have a back up.

Plugged it in. Turned on my computer and it just works, period. I write software, so I create a backup several times a day. The speed of this drive is insane!

Works as advertised ! The Passpor is as good as they say.

Love the small portable size and how easy it is to pick up an take it to travel with us. We store pictures, movies and anything out of our computer.

This is my go to drive for backups of PCs and Macs. Works great as a time machine drive on Mac or a backup drive for Windows 8's new backup software.

I really needed something to replace an external hard drive I got 5 years ago. The fact that this one was powered through the USB port was a nice feature. The 2 TB size was a major upgrade from my 500 GB one. For a fast, easy back-up option, this product does the trick.

As usual the Geek Squad came to my rescue and was able to back up my photos and documents to a device that I can depend on. I am very pleased!

This is a great portable hard drive. I use t for all my work files and have for a couple years. Great brand and product.

I buy only WD hard drives both internal and external. I have had outstanding service with every WD hard drive I have purchased since 1990.

Set up was a breeze, and it's very fast. I can't believe how small it is! I highly recommend!

Works very well and is very light. I have this over a year and it's still working. You can carry it anywhere you go.

Worked great to transfer a large amount of files. Haven't used the cloud component yet. Others who have it said bit works great.

a great hard drive you could enjoy watching movies listening the music and you could put a whole bunch of pictures on there pretty awesome only drawback is that it doesn't have MKV format
