Having looked at and read multiple reviews, I decided to try this unit. It was so easy to connect via USB. The added bonus was it has USB 3.0 as does my tower computer, so my backup went really fast. Catching it on sale Best Buy had the lowest price anywhere on the internet.

This machine and the Mac time machine makes it s-o-o easy to make backups. Powered by USB, no external power required. Be sure to purchase the PC or Mac model. The PC model can be configured to work on a MAC but why bother when you can get a Mac model straight out of the box.

Purchased this for my daughter to use at college. Compact, secure and easy to use. Perfect for the purpose!

This drive continues to work flawlessly and the set-up could not have been easier. Just plug & play. Am using Windows 7 pro and the drive appeared in the drive list without any complications. I did not like the letter that Windows gave it so I changed it wiyhout any problem.

Looking for additional storage and wanted something to add to my 500gb WD external hard drive. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Plug and play, fast file transfer and PLENTY of space! Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for affordable storage solutions.

This is a great deal. I buy them for myself and others in my office so I occasionally upgrade users in need of more disk space. This purchase was an upgrade for an officemate who also upgraded his PC so the larger drive and the newer version of USB were welcome e upgrades.

Bought this as a backup and picture/video storage device, and it works like a charm. I don't have USB 3.0, so needed something that would work with 2.0. It's fast enough for me, and gives me a nice secure feeling that I won't lose all my old photos and videos.

This is an excellent compact 2GB USB 3.0 drive. It plugs directly into your USB port and does not require any external power supply. It is best to use a USB 3.0 port as the transfer is several times faster over a USB 2.0 port (from 10 MBps to 70 MBps)

This product was amazing. Works perfectly with my xbox one. I have had no problems whatsoever and will be buying any other one for my desktop computer once I have my desktop come in the mail

The back up is easy to use. The set up process wasn't the clearest but easy to figure out after a short time. After it is set up it is very easy to use. Price and size were the perfect fit.

This is a nice, not too large in physical size USB 3 drive. I bought it to back up various computers and it works well so far. I haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity, but Western Digital is a known brand, so I expect it to last.

I'm not a tech genius but I know that this external hard drive did the job I expected it to do. It's backed up by 2 TB computer drive well. It saved all of the data completely and without error. This drive is also small, sleek and attractive

Very easy to use. Just plug it in and start transferring files. I use mine to store online books, pictures, music, powerpoints, and documents. FYI: This is a completely mobile device. You don't have to have an electrical plug/outlet for it to function like some others require. It has a USB and you plug it in and go. It's small--qbout 4.5 x 3 x 0.75 inches. The only con was the price...very expensive. Hope it lasts. My last passport didn't hold up well.

Love this! I use it for my Xbox One since the internal memory is only 500GB and the games take up so much memory each that you need an external memory unit. You can't beat 2TB for $99.99! The unit is easy to setup and I've never had any issues with it, only issues I've had was in regards to updates on my Xbox One console but the easy fix was to install this product just like I did on day one. Note that I've never lost any data on this product or had any data corrupted; this works great and is priced absolutely fair!
