I love WD products. I had a WD 1TB hard drive that needed to be plugged in, that's how old it is. So It was a no brainer to get a 2 TB that is smaller and doesn't need its own power source. Love it.

I had some work done on my computer and asked the tech about backup. He reccomended the WD Passport with out pause. He was right! Quick and Easy! The installation and use went with out a glitch!

The installed software for backing up the computer is not what I would use. You would think the companies would figure out a better way to backup file to an external hard drive and make it seamless when viewing or using the files while they are in the hard drive. I find it easier to just copy the files from the computer onto the external.

High storage capacity for a reasonable price and in a small package. I'm very pleased with this drive. I can store all my backups and still have plenty of space left. Read write time is very fast.

I am a photographer that uses these for storing my photos. I've used them for years and have many and (knock on wood) haven't had a failure yet. The USB 3.0 is fast and works great with photos.

There is a lot of space on this drive. I am using it for my Xbox One and it has room for a lot of games. It is a really good design as well.

my son's XBox 360 was filling up with new games and he didn't want to keep deleting older games. This storage device works perfect and give more than enough storage for all of his games.

This little guy just put 2TB of extra space on my PS4 for under $100. No extra power needed and so small you can't tell I have it connected to the PS4. So necessary for serious gamers.

Transfers quickly via USB3. Feels like it's built well and functions as expected. The included software feels a bit clunky but I do not use it. Just open your folders and transfer away.

I got this 1TB external hard drive for just $49.99 on sale. It worked great out of the box. I've bought another of these hard drives and it's reliable. I also like the compact size.
