Got this as a back-up drive. The USB 2.0 interface is fast and completes a backup quickly. (I don't have USB 3.0) I'm happy with with its performance.

Needed a drive to use on the fly for a time machine backup and the price was right. Once the drive was formatted it was ready to go. Looks nice to.

This is my second one. The other is about a year old and both work fine. I will definitely buy this brand again. Bought this because I didn't have my other with me and needed it ASAP. This one was 2tb for $125 which is about $25 more than I should have paid but it was an emergency buy. I like that it is USB powered so you don't need a power cord like an older Seagate one I have.

I bought this external harddrive for my xbox one and it works great. Doesnt even require an extra outlet

This backup drive worked great right out of the box. No setup needed for my windows machine and even comes with some preloaded programs for backup

Cant beat the price I got it for. 100$ for 2tb. I've had WD portable drives for years now and they havent crashed or anything... Good solid product

I have the need to use external hard drives for my business and I have tried different brands and WD has always been the most reliable I have used.

My old temp drive was full - so I thought why not treat myself to something with more space... and while I am at it - time to move up to USB 3.0. And glad I did. I could not believe the speeds I was getting on large file transfers. If I had to complain about something I would say the cable is a little short. would be nice if it was a straight up 3 foot USB cable - but it is not.

Easy to configure, even with a Mac computer; just formatted. Plug in via the USB. That's it. Easy. I am using it like a Time Machine backup from my Mac and works fine. Allow me go to bed with no concerns if something bad happens to my computer. No worries from now on.

Highly recommended to get one for your game console. Free up your limited space and besides you can take it if you got or using another one.

Although setup was easy, when I went back into it, to add my new files, I couldn't remember where to go to start the scan. I found it and added an icon to my start menu, so that should help. Also, I couldn't figure out when it was done, because it never said it was complete.

This is a very reliable portable hard drive. It has encryption and password protection and was on sale for a great price. Rugged construction

I needed something to use for a backup drive and this fit the bill. Because its small and portable I'm able to carry it in my travel case without using up a lot of space. It's plug and play with my PC and I also used it on my mac. Still USB falls short of performance but it does get the job done.
