I'm not a technical computer savvy person, so it took me some time to get it compatible to work with my Apple laptop computer. Once I did it works great for both windows and Apple MacBook.

Great for what I'm using it for

Just needed to get something simple for external back-up storage for my pictures. I love taking lots of pictures and wanted to make sure I would have them if something happened to my computer.

Great for use with my Mac

I use it as a backup drive and for storing movies, music and photos. I thought I would need one of those Mac-specific drives, but found that to be untrue. This hard drive works perfectly for my needs. My computer reads files with no delay and I am very pleased with this product. It has a sturdy case and design but is still sleek. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
