Very compact and easily transportable in any size laptop bag. Has a very large amount of storage space and great for backups or an additional hard drive. Perfect!!!

This is a small, compact, USB powered hard drive that is very handy for portable storage and/or portable backups. I am an amateur photographer as a hobby and I use it with my laptop to carry backup copies of all of my photos.

Does a good job & has enough space for my needs. Its compact for portability. Silver finish is easy to scratch though, so I keep mine in a cloth sack when carrying it around to prevent the inevitable scratches on the surface.

The drive is a great size, physically as well as storage capacity, and just plug and play so super easy to use. I have always gotten great products from WD.

I like the size and feel of this camera. I carry it always, wherever I go. It easily fits in my pocket or purse. It takes great pictures and is easy to use.

This backup disk is small, sleek and easy to use. The only problem I can see is the USB cable is very short. It's was long enough so I could plug it into the back of my computer and set it on top of the case, but it isn't long enough to set the drive on my desk when it's plugged in.

The drive works great and very well priced. No complaints so far. I have bought a few WD portable drives over the years and not one has failed on me yet.

Bought this to store my digitized movie library (350 movies) and there is still room to add more. Easy setup/connection on my MacBook and or my Samsung TV

Great hard drive with plenty of room. Needed something store all my music and this does just that. Decent casing, simple plug and play, very portable.

There was no pun intended for the title. I've had experience with Western Digital portable external hard drives and this one is none the different. They've upgraded the aesthetics to a more sturdy look but I'm not sure it will have the same effect. Regardless, it is a solid gadget and will safely store your files just so long as you follow the procedures of disconnecting the hardware before you unplug. If it hangs sometimes, just put your computer to sleep and unplug it. As long as you take good care of your toys, they will last a while...in theory.

While I would not consider this drive for a very long term archiving or holding the most critical data, it is a nice cheap way for keeping backups and moving files back-and-forth. Easy to travel with as well due to it's thin size. Overall, good price/quality/size ratio.

Needed a bigger memory back up drive, and found this on sale! Backed up all my photos and Quicken quickly and easily. Great device, and easy to use!

Have been happy with the performance of this drive so far. The size is great and it being USB 3.0 has been fast as well. No complaints here.

This is by far the best hard drive for the xbox one. Easy to format and ive had no issues. Ive tried other hard drives and they gave me problems

I've purchased My Passports in the past and I've never been sorry. These drives are tough and hold a lot of data. This one holds a TON of data.

These are nice for college students, this way they don't use up space on their laptops. They can save their work and it is small and portable.

This is actually a replacement for the bad HDD I got from best buy. I got the 2TB for my movies. I connect this HDD to my PS3 to watch movies.

I love this drive, I bought a few. Small form factor, plenty of storage, fast and reliable, excellent for travel. It is password protected.

I buy all of my games digitally. I have multiple Xbox Ones. This makes it super easy to bring games from one console to the other (including bringing to friends houses). Since I travel with it, its very convenient that it's powered right from the Xbox itself via the USB cable, unlike the 4TB external I use on my main console at home, which has to plug in the wall socket. Microsoft made it very easy to copy games from one hard drive to another. And since this is usb 3, it actually speeds up loading times compared to the xbone HD itself.

Right price, size and easy to use, it is great for personal information to have it hardly as well as back up for pictures while traveling
