Super light weight, thin, but quality hard drive which was on sale for a great price. I recommend!

My previous back-up HD was filled to capacity and Apple's Time Machine would not delete older back-ups. Hence, the purchase of this WD-My Passport back-up HD. I've used it once, and it took about 2 1/2 hours for the first back-up. All worked well. Set-up is a no brainer, I look forward to using this WD-My Passport back-up HD for a few more years to come.

Fast and durable. Works well on Mac. Only compliant is I thought I picked up the 4TB not the 2. My bad.

I didn't even got a chance to use it because when I plugged it in it started installing a program and asked me to restart the computer, after that the computer died, making it useless (mind is the only computer I had and I bought it to do a backup that I never did) so I returned it.

Lots of storage in a really small package. I use it to store large RAW photographic images when in the field.

Bought this in-person on sale, thinking it was an SSD... Boy was I wrong XD... This HDD was able to hold up recording 1080p 30fps for over six hours during an outside event, with 1000 minutes to spare. It was easy to connect it to my BlackMagic Design Pocket Cinema 4k with the USB type C connector on the hard drive. The packaging does not have any read/write speeds, and only specifies "hard drive" in super small print on the back of the box, and it was my mistake missing it before I bought it.

I was skeptical at first with how this might work as an add on to my new Mac Mini. After purchase, if everyone doesn’t get one of these they should run out and get one now. The cost and the ease of use is beyond compare. Simply amazing how well it works.

Love it, it’s an amazing external hard drive for our laptops. Can plug it up to our window pc and back our data and then plug it up to our MacBook and back our data from it without any hassle. Would recommend to any friends or family.
