Great size for storage

Western Digital My Passport Ultra 2TB backup

It has both the USB connector as well as a USB-C connector, and can be used for either PCs or Macs. The problem is the provided back up software - "Acronis True Image for Western Digital". If you are not familiar with it, it takes a while to have it do what you want to do, when you want it to. This software is also licensed for your use for up to 5 years. Assuming the drive will last longer, then you have to purchase an update.
