    I purchased this as a backup drive, and mechanically it's great. However the WD backup application is not very good. I have a 1TB drive on the computer, that is only 1/2 filled, yet the 2TB passport is getting it's free space filled up over time to the point it gets filled up, and then I get error messages that the disk is full and can't add/backup any more files. Not satisfied with the support from WD.
