This drive just simply is the best bang for the buck when it comes to extra storage or external backups.

I have always liked Western Digital. I was looking for a backup to my backup and came across this gem on sale. It is light, simple, and I know I can rely on Western Digital after having used them for over a decade to save my files. Now I can have everything with me in a small, compact drive.

This is an easy way to add hard disk space to your computer. Just plug it into your computer and it is ready to go. It is not high priced when you consider it is a 3TB device. I love that you can password protect the drive. This is very important if you take the drive when you travel.

I use this hard drive to save my Mac back-ups, back up my photos car dashboard cam videos, my iTunes library, and so forth. The only thing I have found annoying over the years with MyPassport hard drive: they are Mac compatible but not ready for Mac use. That would be no problem, but every time I had to search their home page to get the drives Mac-ready and each time the solutions did not work as shown, but I got there after 15 minutes or so. Once that hurdle is taken, the drive works very well.

I have several WD drives. I like the passport drives because they get power from PC and don't require separate power adapter. They are small and portable. I use for backups. Great to take with you and have offsite backup. The new models include encryption now making them even better.

This is a great product! Small and compact. It definitely gets the job done and is easy to carry around. Very convenient.

Good amount of storage in a small pocket size portable hard drive. Only downside is its all USB connections internally.

Works as it should and the capability and depth of the software that was included was a nice bonus.

I needed a new external drive because my previous one was too small and I definitely made sure to stay with the WD My Passport brand since my last external was awesome. It installed itself and provides a ton of storage space, I don't expect to run out of room anytime in the near future!

I like the color, the size and the storage capacity. Downside to this unit is the length of the cable, could be longer.

Lots of capacity. Easy to install. Could give it a 5, but how do you tell those details on a portable hard drive?????

WD has the best external hard drives. I have never lost data when I relied on WD storage drives.

This is my second WD My Passport external storage. The first is 4 years old, in regular use, and still works like a charm. At 3tb, I expect his new Passport will have the same longevity and dependability. This is the go-to brand for our household....for quality and price.

The backup is amazing and dependable. I cary 2 at all times.

I have been using WD MyPassport drives for a long while, never had an issue with them. Now, I ran out of space again. The 3TB gives me some new headroom and I still have the safety of an encrypted disk. Needless to mention the USB 3.0 is a blast for file transmission speed.

I would recommend this to others as we have found it to be easy to use and having ample storage for our needs.

I've always used this brand because it works well with my Mac and others don't. I must have 6-8 of them, each one bigger than the next. They've never failed me and I travel with one in my "office", which is a backpack. I'd recommend any WD hard drive without hesitation.

I trust Western Digital as Hard Drive vendor. The HD itself is cool, and it fixed my expectations. However, the USB cable stopped working after a month, so I will have to contact the Support to change it.

I never seen to have enough memory on my media cards so I decided to get one with a bunch of memory. After reading reviews of different ones I thought I would give this at try, plus for the memory size and price this was perfect. I also liked the Noble Blue color.
