Reliable storage... small package. I manage the editing of a major syndicated tv show out of Burbank Ca. We use these to ship show footage overnight from Burbank to Sacramento every two days. We rotate 4 of them plus duplicate backup drives. They get abused through this process but we''ve never had any loss of data unlike other drives we've used. I feel I can trust them... well, as much as you can trust a non ssd hard drive. They're reliable.

I've been using WD Passport for a while. When I want new External HD, I always pick WD Passport. It's fast and reliable. My oldest one was bought 8 years ago. It's still working fine.

I'm on my third Passport, not because they are defective but because I need a ton of storage. This is a great product for backing up your data. the software included is great as well.

This was my first external hard drive purchase. Did a lot of research and it seems you can't go wrong with Western Digital. Transfer is easy and you can hold soooo many games now.

For the price this 3tb portable hard drive is great to backup my computer files without having to buy a 3tb big hard drive.

I picked this up on sale and it is completely worth it! I have my computer fully backed up and then some. It transferred my files very quickly as well through USB 3.0

I purchased this drive to store pics of my daughter's first birthday. I must say that it is performing as expected. It is reliable and the transfer rate is very good.

Small size and great storage capacity.Great online sale on this excellent external hard drive. Order online and opt to pick up at the local store, so I don't have to wait for the shipping.The WD My Passport Ultra seems to be faster than my other portable drives. The 3TB size is great for backing up large amounts of data. Currently using it for media storage and it is perfect for that purpose.

I have purchased and use many external backup drives from Western Digital and Seagate. Both companies make solid reliable drives. Only complaint is that these external drives don't seem to be getting any faster. Have to go to a solid state drive for that - and they are still too expensive and low capacity.

I purchased and xbox one original. Very quickly ran out of storage space. needed expansion via USB 3.0. Plugged this in Xbox one walked be through the process of formatting it and bag. It was set up for usage. transferred all my apps and games across. Works like a treat. no complaints at all If you have first generation of Xbox One - it is a must have and will serve you well

I have used similar devices before but I needed a larger one now. This fit the bill perfectly. I especially liked the backup software program that came with it.

This is the best of the 3 hard drives I've bought. Smaller size and one cord power/data transfer is worth the extra cost opposed to finding a power outlet.

I bought this for both my MacBook Pro and my business laptop which is windows 10. I was able to format it properly to back up both with room for growth. Works automatically with both laptops. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend.
