    I have a few WD external HDD used for backup backup good thing because occasionally they do quit but the ultra seems the most dependable

    This is an upgrade from a smaller drive- basically doubling the size. The drive is nicely sized- about the same as the original, just a little thicker. It doesn't seem to be faster but not significantly slower than the smaller drive.
