    Had to buy because I forgot to bring one when I needed to get my data backed up. It works great, I haven't had any problems. It's small and compact, but it's only 500gb and was like $60, there are better deals. But if you need a good, small, and functional hard drive and don't need more than 500gb, this is a good choice for you.

    Used this to backup an old computer to transfer to a new computer. Printed instructions would have given me more confidence, but I figured out what to do after muddling around a bit. Documents, photos, videos, downloads all got backed up, safe and sound, and then moved over to the new computer intact. Although this was cheaper than other external drives, the price still felt a little high.
