It is a very good product and can be used with ease.

This has been a difficult process in getting our computer working better.

I am glad to have the Passport but still unsure whether i am using it correctly. I do not know if it deletes a file, when transferring additions which have been made on PC. But I am a senior citizen and i think younger generations would love it.

This is my third portal drive. I have one big drive for all of my data. One that is smaller than that to backup my PCs. This one is smaller I use it to copy my music, videos and pictures and I can take it with me to connect to any PC.

Good external hard drive, just didn't work on our Xbox 360.

Bought this to connect to a Micca speck media reader. I had been using USB sticks to store media files. This is much faster than USB drives and even better, is powered directly by USB port, so no external power brick needed. Have had it about 6 weeks and am satisfied with it.

Fast Fast Fast I loaded half the space in about 30 mins. Great 3.0 speed. It was doing about 80 mbs per second. which is good because i have a entry level computer. the hard drive it self can do about 110 mbs per second.

I use it for basic back ups and to keep all my music and movies backed up. It also has a auto back up feature that is convenient. Over all very happy with this purchase have had no problems with it at all

My Passport drives are always quality products and perfect for work and home use. I buy them all the time!

On the whole I feel like I paid too much for this laptop. I had it for a short time, a little over a month and the pin on the connection cord got bent through normal everyday use and no one seemd to know what size it would take as it is not the standard size. It turns out it's compatable with a notebook cord. Nuts! Cost 70.00 to replace and now I feel like have to be extremely careful about it. Also unless you pound on the keyboard the letters often don't type, so if you hunt and peck like I do, I think I've typed a paragraph and look up to find a lot of the letters missing! Very annoying! I had to go back and fill in a lot of letters in this review!

My laptop is acting crazy, so I needed external storage. The price and the memory of 500g was just what I needed. All my pictures, videos and etc are safe and secure....love this product...

I was skeptical about whether or not this size would be ideal for the amount of data I planned on using it for, but it is plenty. I've transferred nearly all of the data at ease.

I am returning this product (External drive), because I found a better, more effective way to move my items from my old computer to my new one. It will be better to move my items via cable, rather that one item at a time.

Bought this for my Western Digital TV media player. Needed a USB 2 cable for the media player as it did not support the USB 3 cable it came with. Other than this it did the job!

Recommended by Best Buy staff member. Just using to backup photo, music, etc from PC at home. Not really using it as if I needed to backup work documents regularly.

The geek squad put all my information from my computer on this external hard drive. They explained what to do if my computer fails. I am happy with this product

My computer broke and so I took it to geek squad and they got all my info off and into this harddrive. I was so relieved that I didn't lose all my music!

The external hard drive is a safe, secure place to store my documents, etc., for future retrieval. It gives me peace of mind which means a lot to me.
