Make sure you connect it to your phone FIRST so it can format it, then you can connect it to your PC. If you want compatibility with Windows and Mac format ExFAT.

It isn't super light, but I that really doesn't bother me as I keep it in my office to download large files I don't want to keep in a cloud account. Great price as well.

Unpack to drive from the box, connect the cord, and, voila, you have a harddrive to run the time capsule as a backup for your computer. This 4TB will be great for me for several years.

Smaller profile than I thought, tho. If I remove anything from the backup, I have to log into it; any way I don't have to do that?
