Only problem is the USB-C cable that came with mine fits almost no other ports I've tried them on except the drive's. Not too big a deal to get another USB-C cable, especially one better suited to your desired length. Still, I could see people damaging their ports trying to shove this one in till it clicks.

Hard Drive Not as Expected

Do not care for the “vault” and have tried to uninstall that without success. Unit gets very warm and sounds like it is struggling. It also gives error messages that .png files can’t be backed up to the drive. Wouldn’t purchase this again.

I really babied this drive - I never moved it while it was plugged in, I never dropped it or damaged it in any way... Then one day, it just stopped mounting to my computer. Now I face a $1500 data recovery bill at minimum if I want video of my dead friend back.
