Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase (even after owning one for 6 months) and have decided to purchase another.

Used for Mac Time Machine

Amazing price for all that space and speed.

The only reason I'm not awarding it 5 stars is it's not solid state but for the money what do I expect? It is fast and came with both cable options for old and new USB hookup. Maybe a 5 star would have been chosen if it were a little more compact. Very pleased.

WD My Passport ultra for Mac External Hard Drive

It works well and I was able to back up all the photos that are on my MacBook Pro. The cable has an adapter so it can be used with both USB and 3.0.

I could never get it set up to backup daily, so I returned and bought this one, set up was easy and works great!

Finally this one is Mac specific and it is sooo fast. Needed some specific Apple app files and this did the trick. Highly recommend!
