I purchased this data storage unit so that I could backup files from my MAC. Setting it up for MAC was not fun as it takes a few more steps that for a PC but all-in-all, the product works great for its purpose.

I use this external to run windows on my macbook. It works just as expected and helps me out a lot as I use this for networking tools. It also still has tons of storage left for me to put files in.

This is a lot of storage in a portable package. Good buy.

This is great for extra storage for the XBOX One Console, it works well. I need to upgrade to a bigger drive as I have filled mine up. But this is a good starter external storage for the kids console.

I needed an external drive for back up. The sales rep suggested this one and I took his advice. Could not be easier to set up and use; Works perfectly. Even looks nice. Not that anyone is looking at it.

I own several WD My Passport Ultra Hard Drives at this point and I fortunately have not had one fail on me yet (knock on wood). Despite some design changes the WD drives are reliable and have come to expect consistency with the performance. It's a hard drive - what more can I say - it does the job.

WD is the BEST! In 25 years never had one fail. This particular drive is stable and secure. Runs cool and quiet...and how can I forget...It is quick!!

Since I am a dinosaur in the computer world I find his small physical size with such a large capacity a great little device to use. I can take it with me and use on any machine if I have to

I purchased this hard drive to replace one that was stolen. The USB 3.0 makes for fast transfer of files and assures that my data is backed up. Also has plenty of space with the 1TB capacity.

At first we couldn't figure out how to pair it. Had a fellow student inform how to set it up. Works fine now.

Seems to work fine. No complaints yet. ok pricing.

I caught this hard drive on sale and what an awesome deal! The normal price wold have been well worth it due to the superior product but Best Buy's discount prices are just phenomenal!!!

Purchased this for my son to back up his Xbox One.

It is the size I need and does the job. It comes with extra programs for extra features for all three major OSs if you want them. I don't use them, but they could be handy for the right person.

This is my second WD Passport, they are a work horse and give great reliability. My first passport lasted me almost 15 years, it still works but figured it was time to replace the device.
