Decent 1TB Backup Drive

This drive suited my needs and has worked well to this point. Though it is listed as a USB 3.0 drive, it has worked perfectly well when connected to the USB 2.0 input on my desktop computer.

The designs saved FAST and the new back-up gives me peace of mind!

The Geek Squad person recommended this unit before working on my computer to remove any malware or unwanted "stuff". I am very pleased with this unit. It will provide space for years for my use.

If you keep your HD in a bag or it could get banged around, spend the extra $ on the better HD enclosure instead of buying a separate padded case.

Almost plug and play

Once I set up the software and followed the on screen instructions, the unit did the rest by itself and I now have my files all backed up in case my computer crashes and burns again. I did this after the "horse was out of the Barn" and only wish I had done it before the crash.
