After 1 month it completely stopped working. Save your time and money and buy a Seagate.

I tried to use on my mac. the computer saw the device but would not wright on it.

Simple to use/access and small to store in work bag with laptop. Overall happy with this purchase

Beautiful, sleek, stylish (aluminum metal) model design case to accompany my IMac desktop, plus top of the line performance I expected from Western Digital, to hold all of the extra data that my IMac can't hold anymore. Love it!

I have trusted Western Digital for years and this drive is no exception. I've used it to store pictures and always just works. The finish is nice and the drive housing is well built. The metal scratches a little easy, but I would rather have that then cheap plastic. WD's software is also not bad, It has good encryption, and the drive is very responsive both before and after the password is entered to activate the drive. I highly recommend this drive and I've have purchased many without any issues.

Needed some more space for pictures and this does the trick. No need to worry about space now and it is very easy to use.

I bought this for my boss overseas and he loves it.

The drive died after only doing weekly backups. First Aid was unable to repairthe drive. I would recommend looking at other drives. This is the second ED to go bad on me.
