Had the option to buy this one vs. the new model that was available. The functionality between the two were the ssme exception for additional incription feature on the new one. This silver one looked good and it was way smaller that the newer model so purchased this one. Very satisfied with the purchase and the performance.

Great small Hard Drive - Easy connection and setup.

Good price, easy set up, nice size & weight, portable

This is an excellent choice for an external / portable hard drive. Very easy to set up and use. Just plug it in and you're ready to go. Also, you cant beat Western Digital's reliability.

We ran out of storage for our Xbox One and had to delete a couple games. Got this home and it plugged right in, now we have no problems and plenty of storage to go around.

Was able to easily partition it into a time machine backup as well as a windows partition to boot from on my macbook. Super fast, but make sure it's well ventilated.

Was very easy to get setup and use. It has very fast transfer speed and will definitely be getting another one soon. Software that comes with it very user friendly.

For my needs this has endless storage capacity and a reliable and durable product. Don't see the need to buy another in the future until technology forces a change.

Easy to use, great for storing things we want to keep safe! The Best Buy rep did warn us about remembering the password, as we are the only ones who can unlock it.

I only keep it on my desk for quick backup. Have not tested it's portability, but I'm sure as long as you don't play baseball with it it will do just fine.

Now here's a hard drive to back up data to. 2T capacity and a metallic casing make this a go to device. Looks great and functions like it looks! Awesome!

Bought this to enable Acronis True Image 2017 backup schemes of a 'Full' and three Incremental backups before having to delete for space - Works terrific!!!

This is my second drive I buy. I like its compact style and not heavy design. I haven't had any technical problem and I would recommend this drive.

I bought this drive as a backup to my all in one. The Geek squad then backed up my machine. So far am very happy with it, but hope I don't have to use it.
