I ended up getting 3 of these to do some emergency backups. They are small enough to tuck away in a safe place, and the data transfer rate made the job relatively quick and easy.

I have several of these WD HD's and as before the product works flawlessly. Great price, good looking as well as very easy connectivity. I cannot imagine using any other product.

Needed to back up a 7 year old computer, as well an another 5 year old external hard drive that had been acting flaky. All files transferred smoothly with plenty of room to spare!

Bought this drive as a portable drive for video work. Take a little longer the more it fills up to register on my macbook, and its slowing down the more it fills up but i'm using high quality footage. To be expected with low drive speed. Would not recommend for your main drive but its a good transport for the price.

I use this drive all the time to play music from in various situations.... I need a drive that doesnt lag and performs when I need it to perform. So far so good... and it looks good!

Love this drive. Security is great as I was able to set it up to work on my computer without a password, yet lock on all other computers unless a password is provided.

I like that this hard drive doesn't require a separate A.C. power cord. I have owned many of these Western Digital Hard Drives and had very good luck with the 2 TB capacity. Personal thought...I prefer the standard plastic case; the metallic case shows every dent, smudge, and scratch.

I bought this hd for my Xbox one s and I am not disappointed. Fast load time from this external hd. I recommend everyone who has an Xbox one to pick one up.

I bought this drive because I dropped and destroyed my last hard drive which had a plastic enclosure. This one is aluminum and can likely take quite a hit.

The software reminds me to backup data based on a schedule I chose. No problems with interface. The entire machine backup completes in like a minute.
